The heart of the mountain
La Moreneta
A Romanesque carving from the late 12th century and patron saint of Catalonia since 1881. Thousands of people climb up to the monastery every year to see her.
We arrive the way pilgrims and hermits once did: on foot, along the paths around the sanctuary, telling you the story of the mountain that shelters her.
